Ya, my car is falling apart. I think I might need to switch out to 4 TSNS 18s though... The BTLs have a hard time with the power.

If only I wasnt broke... :teary:

It's not the power. It's the clipping.

Did you break another sub?

no, he said they just get hot after like 10 min...

but on the other hand, look how hard Meade beats on his BTLs and his old MTs with the same, if more, power than Gmonk.

hell any sub running with thousands of watts on it will get hot after i say a good minute of extreme beating.

thats why i say meades subs are not basic MTs or now BTLs.. he has way more power and plays them all day with no problem...

Blowing subs is because of a problem. Period. It doesn't have to happen.

It could be operator error or installation issues. But I know one thing.......it's not my fault.

Before when I blew em it was because they were seeing 77amps of current per coil, about 4,500rms each, and probably clipping because of the low ohm load on some notes.

Since they were reconed they get warm after about 10-15 minutes at full tilt, but I dont see any sub not getting warm with 3,200-3,500rms for 15 minutes.

I had my amps set with the gains ALL THE WAY down at the comp, so since I turned them up a little, it should be a little louder. They are sitting at about 1/5-1/4 right now.

sucks that you cant put them up any more than that. lol

its still loud though
