aat times the optics cost more than the weapon

at times, the user wont know the difference between a good and bad optic considering this will just be a range toy anyways.

with a kimber 1911 with crimson laser grips at $1,199.00 and a spikes tactical ar15 with free float hand guard,magpul stock,magpultrigger guard,magpul front & rear sights,magpul front & rear grips, magpul 3 point sling,M16 bolt & carrier that total up to 1400.00 with out optics or laser both weapons for $2,500.00 is a pretty good deal.

always wanted to build one. would either of you guys that have built ar's mind pointing me in the direction that you get parts and also any info on what type of licensing/ how to get said licensing to be able to purchase said parts would also be greatly appreciated

Go to gunshop or gunshow, buy stripped lower. Should be around 100 bucks. The rest of the stuff can be bought online. Spikes is good, BCM is good, Daniel Defense is good.

I got a spikes stripped lower, spikes stripped upper, RRA lpk, BCM barrel, YHM rifle length rail, and DD bcg.

sweet, there is actually a gun show in town sometime this month, thanks. is a special license needed to buy any of those things such as the lower ?

Nope. Try find a private seller @ the gunshow selling the lowers. Florida considers them pistols so a legit dealer will make you wait 3 days, but just ask if they are a private seller or a dealer, I usually walk from the dealers because I don't want to wait nor deal with the paperwork.

DTI,cmmg,double star are also good. the lower is whats considered the fire arm and you need an ffl dealer to sell you one unless you buy from non dealer if you have your ccw you can walk out of the gun show with a fire arm if not you have to wait 3 days :( or class 3 for fully automatic & suppressors.
