Ok, ok. Before you think you've seen the Cream Machine for the last time, it's going to be a dedicated SPL vehicle.....
But it was time for something more reliable (and the AC, PW, PDL, PW doesn't hurt either)
My sister wanted to sell her 97 CRV. She asked me to look into how much it's worth, where to sell, etc. I got to thinking about how I could use something to drive to Missouri next week for Steve's 300th (the van needs a waterpump). And I realized that my Mom bought this thing new in 1997. And it's been in the family ever since. Some of you might remember me borrowing it and throwing a SS 1-2 system in it for one of Neil's shows last year (she still doesn't know I did:eyebrow:)
It's got a Honda B20 DOHC, All Wheel Drive, the power options mentioned above, and a $2000 Kenwood Nav/DVD/Sirius system in it.

Yes, that's a towbar for an RV and my sister's license plate still on it. I have to admit it's frumpy looking (:pointnlaugh: I can leave the plate on it and people will think some girl owns it) The first thing I'm doing is limoing the windows out, like I do to all of my cars.

But before you go thinking I care what people think of my ride, let's examine my last 3 whips.....
1999-2003
1979 Dodge Adventurer 150 pickup 318/727 (bulletproof) with a 3/4 ton tow package. I bought this thing off an old man at a trailer park in South Tampa. He drove it down from Pennsylvania and left it for dead. It still had studs in the tires for the snow! I drove the crap out of this rusty old faithful. it was so rusty that when i drove down the road, the flaps (or what's left of them) on the sides of the bed would move over a foot back and forth like wings....

2003-2005 "Nine Valves"
1994 Subaru Justy GL 1.2 liter 3 cylinder 5 speed. This thing got 33mpg before I FILLED it with concrete and fiberglass.....(did i just say that).....it's resting peacefully in the batcave. In fact, I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow. Good car, but it had to be sacrificed to the SPL Gods.

2005-last week "Cream Machine"
1986 Toyota Van Wagon Cargo. This is the Jap version of the VW vanagon. It's ultra PIMP with the engine under the seats, a van body on a truck chassis, and a wheelbase shorter than the Justy. This thing can do a U-turn in two lanes! It's going to be the dedicated SPL vehicle when I finally get the new shop done.

So you see, this Honda is an upgrade for me! I'll deck it out soon enough....just wait and see.....

What I need is a B16 VTEC head, Apexi Fuel Management, 70mm TB, Headers, and an Integra intake manifold. But that's on down the road.
Right now I've got to get those windows tinted. The AC is nice.....whew!

Its ok... The Cream Machine is going to a better place now. A place filled with concrete, woodglue, duct tape, and 2x4s.

My grandpa had one of thoes. He loved it. He had to give it up for a blazer. The unibody IRS design didnt do well pulling his RV.
