Looks better then when I saw it with the plaid design. The hand pull looks like it needs some duck tape.

lol the hand pull im rebuilding, i took 2 2x4s and i glued and screwd it together and when its totaly dry im going to take my router to it and make my hand groove in it along with the screw mounting hole and then cover it in the blue velvet like the pod
Get some of that thin art foam from walmart. I made some pulls for my pickup truck out of a 2x4, used a round over bit on the edges, and covered the top and the curved pieces with the foam, and then covered it with some cheap cloth. It's like 2 bucks for a 1/8" x 8" x 12" piece, and is in the craft dep't. It adds just enough softness and if the wood starts to dry out and split, it won't show through the velvet. I'll see if I can find some pictures of when I redid the interior of the truck.

lol the wireing isnt finished, i need to find a rubber gormet to put in the door hole because the door didnt have a place for wires orignaly so i had to drill a hole to get the wires out of the door, but when all is said and done the wires will go in thru the side panel and coverd in wire loom and all that good stuff

Go to the junkyard and pull some boots out of the doors of a car that has what you need.
I like the way the wiring enters the door.....
that's how the redneck's in Milton does it..... they want to show off all the install..... you got to come by the house when you get it all done.
Just don't turn it up on my street the cops love coming to my house for loud music, hmm wonder why.
