lol man i have seen this question more than anything in the world ppl ask this more than....anything...lol but thats ok i asked it one time and what i was told is it can work for the better or worse i tryed it and i found it did get louder but i tryed it with other subs and it wasnt louder so it can get louder but it might not lol might depend on the box the sub lol i dont know myself but i say try it and tell us how it worked out for you

Its really only for looks. There is no real audible difference in the sub itself. Having the sub inverted (magnet out) gives you more airspace inside the box because the sub isnt taking it up. That may give you a little different sound. But as far as a huge improvement or anything, no, it doesnt matter. It just looks cooler, lol.

What! Buzz agreed with me!!! Yea son! LOL, and Da, I've never heard a difference. Maybe your just thinking your hearing it. Like sometimes I'll turn the volume up on my deck, thinking im hearing it get louder, and then when i look, my remotes batteries are going dead and the deck is on the same volume. Im just thinking it louder, lol.

Im sure you meant 'd'eeper. Which would be caused by the extra airspace your getting from mounting the sub inversely.
