I hit 115 DB with 2 15" lanzar maxpro subs on a port box but i think the box is to small but still sounds great i think i can hit more in a better box am put it to the test these subs rock do compare to other subs i had and cheper to!

All i use was a dual port box with a chamber for each sub...a 3000 watt amp set @ 4 ohms(1100rms) and a 5 farad cap thats about it i dint add the cross over or any other processor so i think i hit realy good DB am bigginer so yea.:rolleyes2:

Thats about as loud as a car horn, playing music with headphones, or childrens toys.

I bass race'd a 129.9 with my punch40ix. Which is a 10 year old, 80w amp. (160w bridged)

That was a 134.7.....

But anyway, Snoopy it's good to see that you're trying. There are lots of ways to get more dB's from the system that you described. Maybe you can post pics and we can help guide you in the right direction.

How did you meter the car? Did you go to a shop or a show?

i did a 135.8 with my L5 10 solo baric and roughly 350 watts.a 136.6 was my best but on a diffrent meter.

yeah post some pics. 2 15's and 3k should be doing some where in the mid 140's on a bad day.lol

i think i may be able to hit 115 with my door speakers.lol

Unless your box is in a trunk with no "venting" into your cabin, 2 15s should be hitting alot higher then 115.

all are quick to criticize, 150 is possible depending what meter they are using, we are all so use to our meter that we jump on any score out there just cause it isn't on it. glad u found your problem snoopy, musta had the subs out of phase, i'm sure everyone here has done that before. once they are in phase that score goes up up up

115 is loud enough for normal listening, especially if it is C weighted on well calibrated equiptment or on the TL or AC 190.

If it has ever been busted in by a seriously loud number that isnt accurate. On the AC 180 I broke 150 with a single 18 and 1000w in a box tuned to 28Hz. :crazy2:

On the TL I did a 144.
