In search of a few good amps.......

Fellows and ladies . I am in need of acouple amps just for Finals. I really want to make a good show of it. unfortunately money spent keeping car running has depleted my funds. Now i know there are a few of us not going to finals. so PLEASE can someone help a brother out? I can do 148.7 but needs more power. It is my 1st. finals after many years of struggle. All i want is to represent Floridaspl as loud as possible. I'll get off my knees now >thanks<. I have a 18 solox dual 1ohms in my rex. already wired with 4/0 power and ground to the pc2150. Help support the competetor of the month. :D

Not sure if it'll do you any good, but I have a hifonics BX-2000D.. Hell I cant remember if it's the 2000 or 2005.

Thanks Dennis, for the offer of the amp but daddy needs more power. but i greatly appreciate the offer. I had 1) kicker kx 1200.1 on the woofer, then tried a mmats 3500.1 and got the 148.7 so i figure 2) 2500's or maybe 2)3000's or maybe a 4000 would do the job. Its hard to lift our heads up out the sawdust just before finals to read this , just thought i would give my best appeal to the world!! :D

Have you tried your local shops. I had a buddy that got a local shop to give him a loaner for the comp. All he had to do was pay for a decal to be added on his car. Also try the Manufacturers. If you're in finals they want to hear that thier product put you there . Just a thought

I am the local shops . I know everyone in jax , nobody has large ones. 2500 watts plus. I have made my appeal with my knee pads on and my chapstick handy. still no help? :roll:

well ladies and gentleman, i just recieved a opti 4000d from a person whom i have never met! His name is Jeremy and he is from Pennsylvania. He is a friend of Johns'(JBM). for a man too hear from a friend that a man in florida needs power and to send his sole possesion a big amp to a man he has never met. IS outstanding!!! see this is what our sport needs is people to help promote good will through out this big world. we NEED more people like this man , Jeremy you are now my friend for life!!!! so come on people lets help each other out ! so far best with opti is 149.8 . need to recharge battery and let the 18 relax for awhile. it has that kicker smell. Glad to see miguel is now getting the power he needs . heard he blew his alt. coming from carltons. welcome to the family Miguel!! :D

Jeremy here. A J i wish you the best at world finals. hopefully i can make it. but most of all thanks for the kind words everyone. my season got taken away from me due to money issues, its the least i can do. moving on though get that second 18"x in there AJ and that amp down to .5 ohm.

can anyone say DAMN that box was heavy!!!! just got the box in for the 2 solox forgot meter at home but got to say it's loud. maybe not loud enuf but cant fit no more in the rex. Gary , battery charger, luggage will have to ride in the truck with john cant see over loading the crx up too bad. need to get there in one piece . no picts cause i had not figured out how to load them. I AM computer illiterite or how ever you spell it. :roll:

That amp can take .5 ohm no prob...so drop that baby and lets see some big numbers!

well the first tests are in ; with slight frequency change to 48 hz. got a 151.24 on the TL. we will try alittle later when battery is charged more. Hey thats almost a 2db jump. maybe we can squeeze some more out this pig! :evil:
