Have you ever heard such a thing

After I got home this afternoon I noticed a ticket on my trash can. We did not seperate the Recyclables all the way and were givin a ticket by the trash police. My neihbor up the street said she saw some dude going through our cans but did not notice it was the garbage police. Insane, you get a ticket if it`s not seperated well enough. What is the world coming to.

I knew a family down here in St.Pete, they recycled for 10 years (they thought). Then learned everything was dumped into the same pile. Its so dumb, you get a ticket so someone else can make money on your garbage.

you wanna hear some bull****... we use aluminum plates on our printing press, and when we are done with a job we discard them in a huge box next to our press. right now its full with about 4.5k LBs of aluminum.....heres the kicker.... we pay someone about 1/4 the cost of the aluminum to recycle it rather than having us take it and make extra cash for the shop to use it on expendable items like shop towels, hand cleaner, coffee, TP....

its funny that i have to bring in my own shop towels sometimes to clean the ink off my hands at the end of the day because the owner is stingy with his money, yet pays the aluminum guy a fraction of what its worth.

he would rather throw old equipment away rather than sell it to augment some costs.

now im ranting.
