Im excited! My dad is getting back Friday and we're going to look at a van I saw in a neighborhood right by ours. I always saw it at the house and thought it would be badass if it was for sale, and the other day, sure enough, it had a for sale sign on it, along with the house. He needs to get rid of it since he is moving up north. I stopped and talked to the guy and he showed me the van. Its a carpentry van, but its HUGE inside. Pretty good condition too. Just a rip on the driver seat, and regular wear and tear for an 89. Not exactly sure on the miles, but I dont think too many. He said the enging was just rebuilt not too long ago. All new tires on it also. Prob goin to check it out and get the rest of the info on it Friday, maybe Saturday. If I really like it and my dad oks it, Ill have my uncle check it out (a mechanic) and if everything checks out Ill be buying it!

Anyways, heres a pic of the van. 1989 Ford E-350. Im excited! :eyebrow:

Went and checked it out today, and its definately in pretty good shape. A little rust on a corner on the front driver door, but nothin major. He said like $300-$400 and it would be running perfect, and he will even take it out of the original price.

Just gotta have my uncle, who has been a Ford mechanic forever, look at it tomorrow, and if he says it checks out Ill prob be payin for it tomorrow. Lets hope he gives me the thumbs up, because it would be a sweet van to have. If I get it, I see my future being very......

Ya, your van is pimp. Wayyyyyyyyy out of my price range though. If I had the money Id buy it. :drools:

We'll see. My parents dont want me to get it now. Even though I was going to pay for it, they would rather buy me a car thats newer. I told them exactly what Im going to do to it..... Cut it up, beat it up, bass it up. They said that they would rather spend the money and buy me a newer van then have me spend my money on an old one.

If they would rather buy me something newer, Id get a new body Astro. I was going to buy my own, but if they feel like spending their money on it, be my guest. Still gotta pay for every last penny of anything thats done to it, but whatever, Im still getting a free car. Pretty sweet if you ask me! :eyebrow:

What year is it? How many miles does it have? What alternator(s)? What batteries? Kinetik HC2400s?

How much you lookin for with just the van itself? No system except for batteries (If they're Kinetik HC2400s) and alternator.

Its a 97 astro, xenon body kit (side skirts need to be repainted, never installed), Rozzi 20" wheels with Brand New Dunlop SP9000 tires, wanna say just over 100,000 miles, new headlights and bulbs, bumper lights and bulbs, taillights, 16 Kinetik 2400's with buss bars (batteries were bought from kinetik the week before Daytona), currently has a 200 amp alt from a local shop, but I have 2 Powermaster XS Volts on the way from Scottie, Powermaster AGM 12v/16v Charger (Got it about a month ago, just to keep the batteries topped off), leather racing seats, 1.5" steel tube cage welded all the way around the box for strength, 44 cubic ft box (4 layers on rear wall, 3 on the sides and roof, and 6 on the baffle, but again, this is bolted to the steel cage), Clarion 435MC(great for bassrace b/c of the Hard Drive), Hifonics Gen XI BLD, Balanced Line driver with gain control for all the amps, and clip indicator in the center console, blue stinger voltage gauge in the dash, 3 sets of Kicker Hyperflex RCA's run to the back, and 4 runs of Kicker 0 Ga run from the alt(s) to the batts with 8 Kicker FHMA maxi/anl fuseholders, 4 right after the alts, and 4 riight before the batts, and all kicker hyperflex 0ga connecting the buss bars. I also have some bnib black m3 style mirrors with blue turn signals, that I havent installed yet if you want them.

Like I said, make me an offer, but let keep this in PM or IM if we could, since this isnt a for sale post.
