expanda foam?.....PROBLEM

well i am sealing off my wall and i use *** loads of foam, but guess what i bought 7 cans and 5 of them would not work , no air came out nothing but a bunch of sweat and a lot of choice words that would be blocked on the site lol....anyone else have any problems with bad cans of expanda foam?.....had to go and get 5 more this am , which is only to do the top of my box, ill use prolly 15-18 on each side of the box ...one step at a time...:wink:

I was working during the summer putting up sheets of insulation under a house and had bought probably 20 cans of it, 6-7 of them didn't work. I think it has something to do with the heat.

Take them back and send an Email to the company.

They were probably old stock. Anytime I use the crap it seems that every couple cans suck.

lol i would buy one at a time but when you have plans to do a 8 inch wide x 50 inch tall and 4-6 inches thick one can doesnt go far, and as far as emailing the company thats an awsome idea. hell with as much foam as ive bought in the past year ......hundreds of cans and i know my wall with the 12 10s had 32 cans on the top and almost twice that amount on the sides not counting what is in the front and other places in the van lol...the 3 cans i got today workd great not a problem one so im gaining my hope again with the can'd product, since i dont think i have the skills to play with the 2 part stuff that would just my a very big expensive mess IMO

I have an idea so that you can buy it one can at a time. Do it in the parking lot of the store.....might work...might get the cops called.

lol it wouldnt be the first time ive put foam in my van in the HD parking lot, but im way too lazy to walk back and forth to the van every 3 minutes with a new can of foam...ill just try my luck 3-5 cans at a time and the ones that dont work can go into a pile and when im all done ill take them all back at the same time and ***** about them to the return lady in one return

one time at work i was sent out to buy 15 cans of foam.(we were doing drywall re pair at work and the walls were in some serious need of replacing,but the owner is a cheapo,so we had to do the best we could and patch it up.about 250 ft of wall about 6 ft high.)thats why stupid people shoulnt drive forklifts at all.

out of those 15 cans 2 worked.the dummy at HD thought i was trying to scam them so i walked over to the display and..the 1st can i picked up didnt work. so i got my money back.
