Just want to say TY Nate from Excessive Amperage for the new High power alt I got today fit like a glove :wink:

miguel, be sure to run at least a 4awg wire from the output of the alternator to the battery(s). This will relieve the stress of the extra current flow on the factory (small) wiring. 4AWG wire should do the trick!


GOOD LUCK at finals bro. Hopefully I'll be ordering an alt from Nate soon. I plan to make a run at finals next season!!

actually I have a zero gauge from battery to alt just couldn't see it was trying not to get shocked :wink:

Man that thing is bright under the hood ! I am glad you got it okay and have it installed. Let me know how it does when you are beating the subs. I wish you the best at finals.

Nate all I can say bro is I LOVE MY ALT started @ 14.19 went down to 13.94 u just got to love this alt the only problem I been haveing is the European judges said my box was illegal and that it was over the window line so had to take the top layer off just to be legal which the box is really legal all my windows r the same hieght the don't own a blazer in europe i guess but that took me all freaking nite to get corrected the only had 10 mins of test time on Sat morning got a 151.6 on vol 4 then got called in the lanes so went in the lanes burped a 151.8 the went to rerun and blew all the subs @ vol 10 and did a 51.5 its been a very hard weekend QUalified in bass race with a 139.8 and had my g/f in the blazer when we were pushing it back to the stall and she lowered the radio down cause she is not used to it and forgot to tell me, she is felling bad now which I am glad I didn't blow her hearing first time she actually herd the blazer with that much power but thier is always tomorrow to try and requalify for final run sunday afternoon might just jump up a class and just let it all out and see what happens :wink: :twisted:

Man, I am sorry you had trouble at finals. Gotta love them judges. Sounds like you hit some good numbers though. I guess the "Alien" alternator did its job too, Thats good to hear.
