Just trying to find out what Units are widely used for this purpose..Looking for something with 5 plus RCA output and seeing what you guys think..Thanks for the replys..Kurt

It depends too much on the system. If you're running more than 4 amps, you'd probably benefit from a line driver, so the headunit output isn't as critical.

I'd say make sure it has a pause button and no delay when you un-pause.

No delay after un-pause is key. The eclipse units I have seen/used do not have pause and the price tag is too high for any small benefit in sound quality.

Alpine and Kenwood are good places to look. If you just want something to burp and arent worried about sound quality low end pioneers are good as well. Most units today can stand up to some serious vibration before they cut out.

ull enjoy it until it wont read cds anymore. had a 815 that lasted about 6 months with constant abuse. kenwood has it now so i should have it back soon.
