Yellow may be alright. To be on the safe side, do not drive with them on.

I know I've had blue meteors at the top of the windshield for about a year or two now, and haven't had any problems. Also have strobelights in headlights and taillights. Haven't had any problems but I dont drive with them on either. the come on when I turn the dome light (which are blue cathodes) on or open the doors.

The rest sound alright.

I'm pretty sure the laws apply to blue and red lights (same colors of the cops) But just to be on the safe side, I recommend you lay low when you're on the road. You never know when a cop feels like harassing somebody.

Nice system. Should sound great.

The way the FHP explained it to me on the side of the road several years ago was that you can't have ANY color that pertains to emergency response vehicles. And for any other color the lights (neon tubes) themselves cannot be visible from the front or rear of the moving vehicle - only the glow from the lights.

The laws may have changed since then.. so take it for what it's worth.

Thats what I was told as well. White, Green, Purple I was told was ok. Yellow, red, blue, not ok.
