Looking for a new substage..

I am interested in getting a 10 or 12" sub (limited to about a 2.5 cube box) that can take around 2k at 1 ohm with no sweat. I may throw more, I may throw less, I just want this sub to be tough and loud.

Subs I am considering:
AQ HDC10/12
DD 95/9910
2x Fi Q 10s
??

I am open to suggestions, amp will most likely be a sundown 1500 at 1 ohm or an ia 20.1 at 1 ohm.

Mainly looking for dual 2 ohm coils for a final 1 ohm load.

In case it needs to be said I listen to mainly southern rap with low bass lines as well as trippy psychedelic music with somewhat faster drum beats. In other words the sub needs to hit the lows with authority but still be somewhat musical.

Also I have no desire for great spl numbers, I am looking for pure daily enjoyment.

Budget is around $300 (Yes I will consider used subs, looking to spend less if possible. What do you guys think?

Mike - I would be all over it but I am not going to be able to support an electrical below 1 ohm at the moment and would like to get the most out of whichever amp i get at 1 ohm.

why dont you recone your 15", or MX?

The MX from what I understand would be quite expensive to recone ( the cones themselves are supposed to be 200+ for the 12") and fitting a 15 in my trunk was a little too much of a stretch, once the box got in you couldn't mess with anything at all without some serious hassle. no thanks.

Settled on a 10" AQ HDC. Plans are 1.75 tuned to 35hz, think it will go low enough?
