I have acquired a 12" Cadence triplex sub through a partial trade. It looks to be a decent sub as far as looks go. Barry has seen it and maybe he can help me out here ? What should I put this thing in (other than the trash) as far as a box goes to test it out ? Sealed ? Any idea on the size ? Thanks for any help. I just want to see what kind of noise I can get out of it.

Nate.
In my experience there is no such thing as a "bad" speaker....(well, except my recones. But that's another story.)
How much room do you have? How much power to run them with? Give me those stats, and I'll hook you up with a box to build.
you know i'll help out whenever you need me to nate. email me the specs of the sub and i will build you a box and bring it to you.

Nate,
Are the subs 4 or 2 ohm?
Are you playing all kinds of music with them?
Do you have accesss to 4" PVC pipe? Or would you prefer a slot port?

I have a 97 Sonoma 4.3L 3rd door with 15" blackwall tires that have 35lbs of air in them. The truck is green, painted, not powdercoated. JUST KIDDING ! Yeah, it 's a 97 Sonoma 3rd door with a decent amount of room. I have a Rockford 451s amp in the truck now, I was going to use that amp to power it. It is a svc 2ohm. I will be on vacation starting tomorrow so if you dont hear back from me, That is why.
