View Full Version : Who would come to Dothan AL for a competition ?

I have been wanting to get a competition together in Dothan for a while. I am good friends with Ray, owner of Batcaps, and he owns a couple of stereo shops in Dothan as well. I am going to talk with Ray and see if we can get a competiton at his CarToys location, probably early spring. I was wondering how many of you would show up for it ? I know my boy Barry will be there (again). It will be a good show with food and prizes, I am sure ray would come through with a batcap and other prizes. I would have a drawing for a free custom built alternator as well as other items. Trophies would be awarded and it would be a points show. Hit me up if you might be able to make the drive, I will post more info if I can generate enough interest. It would be on a Saturday.

Depending on what day it is on if it is a sat I might be able to go just need info on hotels in the area

i am still broke from finals.I know that feally all 2 well bro I am still trying to play catch up and now I have my 15 yr son living with me also my hands r full till maybe SBN is when I might catch up

Nate, i would love to come over there to compete But Saturday sucks!!As for the surrounding the guys and gals would be great to see once again. some of you all i only get to see at finals. i welcome the chance to compete.

Guess there would be a good turn out by the looks of it . I will talk with Ray in the next couple of weeks and see what we can arrange as far as a date, time, and hosting. I am pretty sure it would be on a Saturday though. From the interest generated over the weekend, I would say it would be a big show, not counting the locals either. I will keep you guys posted. Hopefully everything will go through and we will have a nice competition and I will get to meet a lot of you guys I have never met. I would have my grill and cook burgers, hotdogs, and hogballs (jk). If anyone has any suggestions to make it better, please pm me or email me.

I will contact a couple of close Hoe-Tels and see what kind of group rates they can give you guys. I will post Hoe-tel info and prices from a couple of different ones and let you guys decide which one you want.

according to map quest Dothan is only a five hour drive so as long as you have a date set and its after SBN I will be there.

I will get with Ray and see what date we can come up with. Probably in April, After SBN.
