Just one of those days?

Well have ever had one of them days? I have today, it began quite well I woke up! Then went 2 work on the rex had 2 wait a hour and half to get in the building. Well wired up my amps for the first time . turned them on set the term-lab on , rolled the volume and frequency was found. but sounded funny! tried it again ,sounded same . so lifted rear hatch and put meter on the top amp for voltage. shut the back and rolled it again figuring maybe voltage? well the amp let out a scream and sparks flew out the 0 gauge power side , needless to say that has never happened 2 me. HOLY **IT!! So now i have a bad amp,and a car that needing power! oh, then i looked down my pinky nail was bleeding like a stuck pig from being in a hurry to diconnect the power wire like pronto! so be safe with your rides . They bite back ever now and then!! just a day in the life......

btw, as you probably noticed, I forgot to call today. I'll wait until Monday.

Any chance of geting the amp fixed soon? What about running the other one on both, will the amp handle them (I know you wont get as good numbers)

so it's you're first time having an amp catch on fire. WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!! i think the only ting i haven't done yet is completly popped a battery. but ya, it sucks when you're trying to get the amp out and next thing you know you're the one more hurt than your equipment. glad to see you still have your sense of humor.

My finger is fine now. Thank god it wasn't my trigger finger eh! Hello, there is only a few fingers left. But needless to say, the woofers are now running off of 1 amp. doing ok could be doing louder. but still satisfied with the score. I AM LOUDER! and that's all that counts!!! The amp will take abit longer to recover!! :( :( :( And Billy don't jinx me that would have happened if i didn't think fast.
