Sand Key Park on Gulf Blvd. Its right before the bridge to get onto Clearwater beach. We have shelter #2 reserved, grills will be there and hopefully some girls :wink: The ONLY hitch is that parking is $6. But when metering and food/drink free too, I dont think anyone's going to complain.

Mike (I believe) there was food there, it was made apparent by a buddy of mine that there was. While it WAS minimal, we let EVERYONE know there was food. We cooked around 20 hot dogs, and I believe your wife was given two. I was in the red mustang, I set up the event, and specifically said numerous times on the forum it was put together on, that food was to be brought if you wanted to eat. While we didnt have a gourmet chef, and a catered olive garden lunch, there was hot dogs to shove into your stomach to hold you until dinner (which a few of us had) at Wing house. This was even noted, for the ones who cared to go.

I appreciate the metering as (in a sense) it saved the meet, by giving us something to do. But, what I don't appreciate is saying to those that DIDN'T come, that they missed nothing. If you couldn't tell, most of us their are amateurs, and are learning. The meet was a success in many peoples eyes, maybe your just used to huge IASCA events or something? We had 30 some odd people at 1:00 pm. While they weren't all in their own cars, they were ALL into audio. My point is...there were people to speak to. I tried to make this meet as organized as possible to keep the head count, and maybe the thread where I made these things apparent, is the thread that was deleted after I left my former team. This could have been the problem. Either way...it WILL be bigger next time as I am trying to work with Shawn Flemming (who did attend the meet) to have a show with the local Gainesville, or Orlando PD for a food/toy drive.

I am hoping we can have it be a 3x dbdrag with bassrace and all that fun stuff. I am not sure WHAT that takes, but, I am willing to help bring shows werever, as I said to you at the meet, we need them up in Mississippi.

Our new forum, specifically for us South Eastern car audio guys will be up relatively soon, hopefully by the month end. This will give anyone and everyone from the south east (not just florida) somewhere to gather and discuss BIGGER shows they are able to possibly make. I hope to expand any orgnization my way and farther, as the scene (in my opinion) is dying quickly in the south east minus Florida.
