Well im new here. ive been into car audio for about 6 months now. ive done a few installs, and have recently proven to myself i can build a box without screwing it up :D

My name is matt im 18 and from georgia. I joined the floridaspl forums because ive noticed how many events are in florida and i plan to start attending as many as i can. My first one will be the event in gainsville on may 18th (let me know if youll be there). i personally dont have a car however i have been using my sisters 2001 honda accord as my play ground and done some work to it. I also installed a small system in my moms 1997 expedition but i dont pay it much attention.

I did all the work myself, including the box. I havent gotten around to learning how to carpet or anything but thats my next adventure.

Welcome to the site, and thanks for joining!

Thats pretty cool of your sister to let you do that to her car. That's a nice little setup too.

thank you. :) and yes im happy my sister allows me to do things to her car. She wants to add lights under the car as soon as she buys the equipment (who knows when). But she is slowly but surely getting into car audio. after i installed her new box and tested it. she told me she wanted to go to some car audio shows. So she is hooked now.

ouch lol. Id like to do a bunch of work to my sisters car, sound deadening, 1/0 run, new bat, 2nd bat for the trunk. But i could easily save that money and try to buy my own car. which is why i dont.
