This isnt me, but this is a great idea for parking in shady areas.

thats a nice idea.
thats is the main reason i have never purchased a nav unit or in dash dvd. i hate not being able to take the face with me.

I am in the process of doing just that, for my expedition, but I am gonna buy an old unit from Ebay, I am not gonna kill my stock headunit just yet.
But yes, a very good idea.

anyone that lives in Corvallis, Oregon, that wants a navigation unit, just find Trevor Paul's Ford Ranger.
if the point is security, why broadcast it online? maybe he will show us where the wiring and brain of his alarm is, too.

thats funny, the civic im working on has a double din screen with detachable face. its sick.
