Well If Your Box Leaks Air It Will Help Seal It,also It Should Stiffen The Box And That Should Decrease It From Flexing. That Could Get You Louder.

By How Much...i Dont Know.

resin inside a box will not stiffen it up. Resin has no inherent strength qualities without the use of a mat. cloth or biaxilweave.

Resin inside the box will seal up and joint leaks.

Resin inside the box will make the surfaces smoother, which in some case will make your score rise very little. But sometimes a tenth is all you need.
It just allows the air to slide across the surface smoother which can create less friction and turbulence inside the box....if ported.

I fiberglassed some of my box, and put two sheets of 3.25 mdf on top and a steel rod through the center of it. The box isn't completely fiberglassed mainly the walls and around the port. Its definatly louder, but by howmuch I don't know.

The tones are deeper sounding then before.

thats because your box isnt falling apart anymore.

Porous materials have better flow than non porous materials.
