View Full Version : 1989 Crx Dx $1500

1989 CRX DX. Bone stock engine this is a GAS SAVER!! No rust and nearly complete.

I average between 37-40 mpg and have seen 42. It looks like it sits high in the rear because it does. I had a heavy system in it and also used it to tow my 4wheeler. I have the lowering springs and can put them back in if so desired. Sorry the hitch has been removed and not included. There is no radio in the pics but I will install a Sony CD player to get you some tunes.

Runs perfect! All the usual things that go bad on a car this age has been repaired.
New water pump
New brake master cylinder
New front struts
New distributor coil
New rear hatch struts
New front brake pads and New rotors. Less than 1 month ago.
A/C control head has been converted from an EG. No more broken temp control! (typical for a CRX)
A/C compressor is there and does work. It had a leak at one of the lines (crack) and needs to be fixed. Thats it. Replace the line and charge it up.

how many miles is on the motor and the drive train... manual or automatic??

Ditto the above, also can you take a few pictures of under the hood please. I have a few people I talk to that might want this asap.

Replied to all pm's. Engine has about 80k on it, its not the original. The chassis has about 305k on the odo. I'm unsure of mileage on the 5sp manual trans. It runs great though I would drive this to NY and back.

Located just outside of Fort Myers, work in Lehigh Acres and live in LaBelle which is about 2.5 hours south of Orlando.

I will try to get a few more pics up tonight. Basically a bone stock engine bay with an intake. (it was on there when I bought it)
