Like a bad penny.....

as far as talking trash, I've been too busy welding, cutting, and cursing to spend any appreciable time on any of the forums or phone.

The way I see it, I've got a month and change to get the blazer finished up, tuned, and hopfully breaking a decently high number. It's gonna be a veeery tight race to gitter-dun before sbn.

If the freakin delivery truck with the next load of steel ever gets here.
I just called them about it - their excuse - the truck broke down this morning in route, but my delivery will be here sometime between now and O-dark-thirty today....
I think the driver is off picking his nose somewhere.

I missed a day of work hoping to get some metal to play with today..

Just stay inside and warm yourself with a nice bowl of Hot Cereal.

Nahh, I had a bowl of turtle soup. LoL

I almost choked from laughing so hard when the delivery guy arrived yesterday evening. After unloading the steel from the truck, he was looking over the blazer. Once he finished giving it the once over, he ****ed his head a bit and in all seriousness said "Sooooo, you're building yourself a nice little hotrod there, but don't ya think it'd be a tad bit too heavy for the dragstrip? What's kinda roll cage is that? Never seen one like that before."

I had to explain what it was for, and after he understood the concept he had to tell me about his nice-ol'-pick-em-up truck with a 'tree-fitty' under the hood that he drives.
I didn't know they still made 8-track players.
