How many 12's will fit???

Ok , i started this piece to find out how many 12's will fit in a astro van . A short version of this van. Would you build it pacman for more room or wall it straight acrossed the van? Build it like a W shape ? Let me have your input fellows and gals. Bass race is the game, bass race is the way!! THANKS!!!!!;)

Well, hmmm.. I've heard of 24 12s in a clam (pacman style). Not sure if 24 will fit in a straight wall, 20 maybe....

Now a W would be something to see (and hear). Even with that, I think 24 would be hard. Each wall would need 6 subs.

depending on the subs i dont see why a sealed diamond with 36 12s would be unrealistic.

Just buy as many as you want to run, and then figure out how to put them in. It will be like one of those brain teasers. Sounds like fun!

step has 24 i think. its a pac man with a row of forward firring subs on the top and bottom of the box. buzz should have some pics.

Yea, I believe Step has 24 in his. I heard that van today, it's a beast.

I am starting to think that more than that could be put in. Somewhere between 30 and 40.

if built properly maximizing ALL space, I would guess around 35 would fit...

But there was a guy in the late 90s with 50 something 12's in his van. I'll have to find out who it was......

Ther was a silver one a few years ago with 30 12's and 6 MMATS D-300's.

Was in there booth at Daytona. Very nice and very loud.
