FS: Alpine 7909 CD + 5959s Changer

I have a new in the box legendary Alpine 7909 30th anniversary edition CD player and an Alpine 5959s changer for sale. The headunit was a display model for a luxury audio shop in central Florida back in 1997. They sent it in to Alpine in 2002 to have it cleaned and checked up. It is in almost MINT condition with the exception of a small scratch on the side of the face (see pics), a scratch on the case (from the cage), and a tear in the sticker. There were only 300 of these made in 1997; this is #151. The changer is SEALED in the plastic. It has never been opened.

This is an ULTRA high-end CD player. There are a handfull of headunits that ever sounded this good, but only one 7909 one-knob radio. Yes, that's a copper chassis. I am firm on $1200 shipped in the continental US. I will sell to foreign countries, but only after payment has cleared. Contact me for details or questions.
