Right now i have an Re SE 12" in 2.5 with 35sq of slot port at 35hz. its just now loud enough. I have an alpine mrv850d 800rms@2ohm running it. I was thinking about upgrading to the Incriminator audio lethal injection 12, or two 187 10s or Maybe a audioque sd2.5 15" but if i got a 15 the sub would have to fire up and port back this is going in a trunk

If you have 17 tall you can get a 15 to fire back if you want to go that rout. Also if you want to use the IA 12 I think the price is like 200 each they're good but the AQ hdc3 12 is snout the same price and they're very good also comparable to the solo x and 9900 series DD

i wouldn't but the AQ in the same league as the solo x and the 99 series. it's a masked 35 series with a bigger motor.

don't get me wrong, there both great subs, and both would be loud. but if you're comparing apples to apples and go with the sd2.5 12 and a li 12 you going to get roughly the same results. in my opinion i would go with IA. great customer service and they know what they're doing. just my two cents.

IA subs are awesome! i have 6 death row 12's and they are doing great! they definitely have the best customer service.

Well I only have 13"hieght and 2.5^3ft. I can afford 200shipped i was thinking the two 187 10s would be louder

In most cases 2 10s will be louder than 1 12

I do believe that the two 10s will be louder, they are 10 dollars more so its no big deal. im just, kind of abusive with speakers, so i am curious to know if they can handle the abuse

do you guys think the one audioque 15 will work in 2.5 cubes? my RE SE 12 just isnt loud enough

if i use round ports,and build a new box, i can fit two 187 12s, use two 3" aero ports 8" long, 36hz and 2.90^ft3

Nobody has asked the Obvious question ......... What kinda car?? Then we will see what works. 10's, 12's or larger. Fold down rear seat or not?

2001 mercury sable, yes the seats fold down. I found out today that the sub and port firing into the car is a good bit louder, all of my other vehicles it has been the oposite

Seal it off completly with dynamat on the rear deck and you could possibly port it up through the center hole in rear deck. Seal rear seat section completly from the trunk. and check and find the cars frequency. That will help determine size of sub.

i sealed the rear deck up pretty well with dynamat. I do not want to seal the trunk off from the cabin and rely on the port through the rear deck. Ive tried that on a passed install and i hated the results. Im going to get a pair of Incriminator audio LI 10s or 12s. if an amp is 2ohm stable, how long will it run at 1ohm before it goes out? cause i ran my goliath and nine.1 at .5ohm and never had problems, the 9.1 would go into protect some times but rarely. the amp is an alpine mrv850d
