Hey all I am new to the forum,got the link for wigglez.

I am not into competition but I am into loud daily driving :lol:

I have aquired two 2006 12" Alpine SWR-1242D subwoofers and need a 4 or 5 cubic foot box tuned to about 35Hz and will allow my subs to not overheat at 850w RMS per sub.


Are there any experienced box builders here?

talk to Brandon - he knows how to get hold of me. I've got a ported enclosure taking up space in my garage that was originally built for two rf t1 12" subs, but will work quite nicely for the alpines.
It was built for everyday street banging and not spl, so it should work quite nicely for what you are looking for.

Oh, and welcome aboard! You should still try to make it out to some of the shows. They are always fun.

I'm not skeered. I just need more power, and for everything to quit breaking. (And some yellow paint for my port I guess. Hey, the foam is kinda a yellowish color, does that count? LoL)

I finally got the batteries charged, so if I get the money together to make it, I'll be there with a big ol' grin on my face. The problems with mine and my wifes car over the last couple weeks has drained my finances. Will see what I can do. I've really missed competing in the last couple shows and the itch to get back in it is driving me nuts.
