1 15 box

I'm designing an spl and a daily driver box with 1 15 and 3 aero ports. If any has built one of these give me some ideas please. I can build a box for multiple subs but is my first attempt at a single sub setup.

you need a design first if that is what your asking for. and the amount of aero ports (you stated 3) will depend on the box

I was going to go with 1 8 inch port and do just SPL but I want to be able to drive with it as well. Thats why i'm going with the 3.

Have you considered going with a rec/square port and making a baffle insert to tune it between spl and block beatin (kinda like a smaller port insert that slides into the original)? but i know the aero ports sound good and give off less port noise depending on who you talk to? best of luck!!! :grin:

Here is the basic idea but picture the port he builds here as an insert? so you could change the tuning frequency of the box just by slipping the other port in....a larger port for spl and a smaller port for daily streetbeatin. hope it helps and it just a suggestion from this end. i've never done it either but i think it would be cool to "try"?
