So, SBN is only two weeks away! Who's ready, who's not? What are everyone's plans etc?

I will be there, but I don't have any amps, and it's looking like I won't untill after SBN. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do, but I may be borrowing an amp from Buzz, or figure something else out. I'll be doing bass race, and maybe Iasca.

I'll be there in full effect. As usual, without a vehicle, subs, amps, etc. I will be consuming junk food in the day, and cerveza in the evening.

I'm thinking EVERYONE who owns a t-shirt needs to represent. And if you don't have one now, get one. We will have shirts for sale at the show. Find me and I'll hook you up.

You need to run USACi cause you can't run 8 conductors in Drag SM 1-2. And I happen to know that you'll get your ***** handed to you in SS 1-2. Actually I know who's coming for SM 1-2 that's gonna whoop up on EVERYONE, but that's another story.

So USACi and Bass Race if you're up to it. Stay outta dB Drag.

well my stuff was not blown, some *****hole turned one of my gains on my amp to 0 and another one all the way up, so I would like to tell who ever did it I will be watching my truck closer when it's open and that they suck because I still took first, just goes to show if you cheat you still won't win and that there are still low life's out there that will try to screw you if you give them a chance, well my truck is still not 100% but I will be there as always, will be selling the JL13w7's and going to Fi BTL's

Ok, don't get discouraged. It depends on who shows up on SS 1-2. I know of one vehicle that's going to throw up a CRAZY number if everything goes right. But hey, you never know. If only 2 or 3 guys show up, then you can do well.

i decided to do iasca and db drags for sbn. i'm gonna go down to sm 1-2 so we'll see how it goes. i'm there to have fun and meet new people this year. i won 1st last year in meca i'm just doing db drag for the points and i'm gonna try iasca for something new.

i don't know about killing you, but it will be close. if i get a 53 out of it i will be happy. if not, i'm not going to have my fealings hurt. i was doing 53.3's last year the weekend befor daytona and when i qualified i lost 5 db. so things happen, and it's usually my luck. i just want to finally put a good number up in db drag at daytona. it hasen't happened yet and you know they say the third time is a charm;) .

I know that when I went to SBN back in 2000 and registered when I got there, it was a crazy long wait in line, and of course it was more expensive. Your best bet is to preregister, it will be quicker when you get there, and cheaper too.

FYI, The cutoff date for Pre-registration is Thursday 3/21 - www.springbreaknationals.com - in case anyone needs the website address.

I would like to express my congrats to all who attended SBN. it was a good show with lots of hardware given out. This was my first SBN and it rocked....The Bass Boxing was unbelievable the crowd really enjoyed the show.....Congrats to both my teammates for winning their classes Lawyer Boy and Slim Thug and also to my wife for taking a close second.......The Bass racing was also very competitive all classes were full bracket besides the 119.9 - below and the 150 - 159.9......Great show!!!! Congrats to all my teammates.....Team db Unit.........

i want to give my thanks for the weekend. first to my friend eli that i work with for helping me get the car running. shawn flemming for the trailor, casper for the truck. my team mates tony, cj, rj, matt, mario, aj, and pipo. nick and josh from incriminator audio, tommy mckinney for sticking up for me in the lanes, rad for letting everyone know how much trouble i had getting the car to daytona, and most of all my father, without him i would have never ben able to make it. if i forgot any one i'm sorry but don't feel left out just add your names and some smart remark.

all in all i had the most humbling experience. i saw how we all can come together as team florida and help each other out. this WAS and will be the best spring break i will ever have. now i have to test and tune. the rex will get loud, just in time :) again thaks to all!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bass Boxing was awesome that night....Buzz you were crazy when Livewire busted out with a 160.4 out the gate even when the guy was trying to push you back away from the van.....that van was awesome it gave Ho Problem run for the title....he only got beat by 1 tenth.....that is really **** impressive...as a team, Team db Unit had three competitors representing in Bass Boxing 2 first and 1 second not bad for first timers....good job guys

i would like to thank aj for being so helpful since this was my first sbn,i had a blast,good seeing you mike and neil and greg from us amps,and henry and david and hue and wayne.good meeting scott owens and kyle and alan dante,really a bunch of good competitors.

Who knew doing a 157 @ 10hz was so easy. LoL All I needed was a 14 volt drill battery. :eek:

I found out exactly what I needed to know while I was there and now the real work begins. LoL.
Between the phase problems, all the broken amps, almost knocking out my mentor by accident, a very inebriated turtle, Norris (of all people) telling me to post more build pics on the termpro forum, and not getting any sleep since last wednesday, I was happy Mike Whyte took second place in our class under Kyle W., who I believe still has my 12 volt charger.
(Like I told Mike though, all I wanted was a cert. score.)


the show was full of fun times, and some not so fun times, but who cares, I'm just glad everyone made it home ok.
oh, and I'm really really glad operation pooch rescue worked out fine for all involved.
