Well just received a call from JBM John . seems this man was moving sheets of mdf around in the garage and dropped one and BROKE his big toe. Now everyone please practice safe sound this time of year . Keep a good hold on your mdf. as you all know that s@#t is very heavy . so when moving it look out . Also lets not have a jig saw or skil saw accident to ruin your SBN experience. Now i would like to extend a get well soon to Father John!!Get well you kook!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I been with leg and back pain for the last 2 weeks and I haven't start on the truck. Been in the ER and my doctor 3 times in the last 2 weeks looking on going tomorrow and maybe Monday also. So we'll see if the truck can make it to SBN.

Yep I dropped it on the toe last night and ended up in the ER! Sucks, but thankfully most of the hard work is already done! A little tip...don't be working with sneakers or flip flops around big pieces of wood or heavy subs...!
And Pipo, I hope you feel better bro...it would be nice to see the truck at SBN!

john mentioned the subs. last year had one rip my finger almost in two. not many people noticed the blood stain on the box. but isn't every spl vehical built out of blood, sweat, and tears (retorical question, you don't have to answer)? so it does go with the game. and john, you're retiered, you don't have to go to work in the morning. drink another beer and you'll be alright :)

I already had one incident, last year, with a table saw (one reason for me using a circular and jug saw now). Definitely don't want to go through that again. Only have about %70 usage of left index finger. OUCH!!!!!!
John, get well man
Let's see, Instruction #1 for building a loud vehicle is now
Wear a minimum of composite toed shoes, but preferably steel toe.

I can sympathize with the broken toes.. at one time or another through the years, I've broken all 10 of mine.. not a straight toe do I have.
Since starting the blazer build for sbn, (started a month after nopi last year.) I think the official injury count for myself goes something like the following:
Trip to the ER to have a piece of steel removed from eye.
Call to the ER to find out why previous nights tetanus shot is hurting so much.
Multiple small third degree burns from welding spatter.
Multiple large second degree burns from welding spatter.
Melted wedding ring and skin under ring from un-noticed hole in welding glove.
Trip to the ER to have shoulder 'un-dislocated'.
Deeply bruised foot from dropping stacked window glass on foot.
Broken toes (again) from above window glass meeting with foot.
Infection from papercut from cash while at store to buy new boots.
Multiple deep slices from misc. hand tools.
Multiple punctures from misc. hand tools.
Resin/sand mix in eyes.
Concrete in eyes and ears. (don't ask)
Wood screw 2/3 of the way through hand.
Trip to the store for superglue to stop bleeding from slicing into hand with angle grinder. (Tired of the er.)
Severe sinus blockage/infection from sanding without mask.
Strained back from lifting mdf.
Chemical burns from battery acid.
Chemical burns from plastic fuel cell rupturing in lap, spilling gasoline.
Multiple contusions on head from various parts of blazer.
Smashed hands from batteries. (No breaks, but still hurts after 3 months).
Many other small injuries too numerous to count.
Stopping to think about it, anyone wanna buy a blazer?????? LoL
