Welcome BigSlim.

If you're not sure what you want, don't rush into buying just anything. Get yourself to more shows and ask LOTS of questions. The FloridaSPL guys are always willing to talk about their systems.

I recommend going to shops and asking to hear the equipment; buy magazines and read the articles; and attend shows and see what people are using.

What is more important than what you choose, is how it is installed. Make sure you hire a competent installer/friend for installation. In the long run, it will make your life happier. Nothing's worse than a crappy install with issues, failures, etc.

Again, thanks for joining and good luck.

Ask to demo peoples set ups. Do your research. When it comes down to it, find the balence between wants and your wallet.

good to see some replies. the advice is great and i try to look into as much stuff as i can but its hard for me to get to a lot of show because of the "TWO's"! you know two kids, two jobs that kind of stuff. i have noticed a lot of the shops in Jax don't have stuff to demo. they just have displays. that’s why i need opinions and like CBFryman said ultimately it will come down to the wallet.

I can name 2 (possibly 3) shops, right off the bat, you'll want to visit. Especially since you're in this area.

Of course you were at one Sunday. Then if ya get to Oceanway, go visit A.J.. Both Mike (at Pinnacle) and A.J. are outstanding people and will help you out any way they can.

There may be a couple other shops, but right now they slip my mind. What part of Jax you in?

You want to see some awsome systems and see the best, come down to Daytona this weekend for the springbreak nationals. You want ideas, you will not find a better place. Plus there are alot of vendors and displays to look at!
