avn 6600 questions

i just got a 6600 yesterday brand new,installed it,everthing works fine except when i put in a burned cd or mp3 it makes wierd scratching noises,now i can put in a store bought cd or dvd in the same slot and no noises,have any of yall have any ideas.

I have the same problem with my JBL receiver in my house. I can not explain it. Not all burned CD's do it either. If I use high quality blanks and a slower burn rate it does not do that.
