so what do you think New cars 2001-present Vs old cars anything below 1999.
Which is better and easy to add system and load for Spl or basic system or SQ with out heaving to modify it so much? old car models or new car models you personalty and explain why.
PS.
Don't base your answer on what you have now ask your self what would of been easy to use old model or new model.

old cars!!
for one when your doing your installs etc.. on new cars most of them have security stuff you have to bypass...
and they cram stuff in them to much
old cars there is no problems installing anything and easier to run wires OLDER CARS ALL THE WAY

older cars FTW!
my point is PRICE. they are less expensive for one(model dependent).

hmm.. depends on the car.. i love old muscle cars, but i also love new tuners..
so if i could get a ford, itd be a 67 fastback stang.
if i could get any nissan, itd be a brand new GTR.
if i could get a porsche, itd be a 86 RUF turbo coupe.
if i could get a toyota, itd be an old supra (cause they dont make new ones) or an old pickup/4-runner.
so i mesh. i like it all. cars are cars. does my 2000 maxima suck? yea.. wiring and problems and everything else. but eh. i still love it. its my baby. ;)

id say the old car cause if you put a dent in it who cares and its going to be cheaper, plus if you want to cut it up you can and not worrie to much plus in older cars there less eletrical stuff to mess up when your system in there and starts flexing things

Old cars hands down!! The reason simple- They pioneered and pushed the industry to what it is today!! How many people remember the 86' regals with 3 10's in a wedge behind the rear seats so they had room for their 4 pumps and 10 batts? (or was that just me?)

Older cars but not TOO old. They are just easier to take apart plain and simple. Yet too old, and plastics become brittle and I hate taking off old pillars in a chevy pickup or a dodge dash off haha. CCCCCRRRRAAAAACCCKKK!! In newer cars the plastics used are so soft if you don't use body tools or pin removers you will white spot them. Nothing a heat-gun can't make go away but it's just a pain in the ***. Also as mentioned the electronics. There's just no damn room! As for sound quality that's a toss-up. Many newer cars have factory tweet mounts and angled woofer mounts. A simple upgrade in speakers/radio/amp can make them sound sweet with zero modifications to the mounting holes. It really comes down to what make/model the car is as to which is easier to build in. Just don't bring me a GTO and tell me you want some banging *** bass :P
