i didnt get by home depot tonight. i went to sell/buy subs straight from work. i live no where near st pete but was willing to drive there for the deal i got. the monsoon on the way home didnt help either. i will start in the morning. i am going to try building something ported so who knows lol.

well i tried my hand at building a custom box today. now, i dont have a manager or anything (lol) but im pretty happy with the outcome. 8 cu ft tunned around 32hz around 120 sq in of port. i made it a lil big for my suv tho.

ive got a box already built for 2 15s 8cubes 103^port all doubled layer mdf gmonk designed and helped build for sale

it all depends on the width. it can only be 38" wide (exterior) because i have stupid wheel wells sticking up

should paint the port... reduces port noise and lets the air flow better.

just a lil update, i installed a 2nd batt today and the difference is amazing! its a deka 9a31 and for the money it was the best upgrade i could have done. no more lights dimming!

Wow that box is tall. I think if you did a box that was shorter you would see a decent gain.

And yeah, those are my old subs.

well this is like the 3rd box iv built. i used the reaudio box calc. i know if i had another one built by someone who knew what they were doin it sound better, when funds replenish i will do so. thnx for the advice! btw your old subs sound great lol-
