props go to Decaf over at SMD. IMO, he does some badass remixing. he fades in the bass really nice, and its not all clipped like half the retards that remix songs.

my favorite song so far (ive downloaded them all) is Gang Signs by Project Pat

Disclaimer: I would like to say Thank You to any artist/dj whose music I've altered in any way... the songs below are from mixtapes via DatPiff, MixtapeEvolution and Tjsdjs all availabe for free, so join their sites and support our sub's favorite music

1) I don't chop anything, I don't know why, but I can't stand it at all... The only things I do is: change tempo, speed, pitch, equalize it, fade in/fade out, HighPassFilter (this is cool for those without a bass knob or button, -12db+ slope used so the bass comes in at a good point, usually when the verse begins) and a few other effects that I'll keep to myself

2) I've been adding in some notes, sine waves, to both change the song and fill in breaks in bass

Most songs are geared to peak around 25db... and I try my best to keep it clean and loud... and there's no point in pointing out if there is minor clippage present, as I'm fully aware, and have deemed it negligable at best. I wouldn't post anything I wouldn't play in my own car

I don't slow much below 28hz... no point... very few can play it (but kudos to those who can)... so I keep it reasonably slow without sounding stupid

3) You can request a song, but I will not leave it in its original form, because that would be frowned upon by "The Man"

4) Don't mind the dj drops... I can't get rid of them... and some of the tunes aren't available without them / if I repost a link, let me know... the list is getting long and I'm not perfect, lol... help a brotha out if need be / PM ME IF LINKS DON'T WORK / Remember, zShare only keeps files available for 60 days, so keep viewing/downloading otherwise these links will eventually be dead)

5) Gain Setting Test Tone... I've gone through alot of my songs and averaged the peaks and have decided this to be the best level for the average user without being too low/quiet. Some say to use -3db @50hz, Rockford Fosgate says to use -10db/-5db @40hz... so my average sits right between there... if you are going to play test tones other than setting the gain just don't use a 0db tone... use -3db or lower

-5db @45hz 30s Test Tone (http://www.zshare.net/audio/623396604f1cec5e/)

Lets have fun, be patient, and enjoy most of all some loud tunes... at times rare hard to find songs even

ive been stealin decafs music for a while now, some truly good stuff.

i advise people to take it easy when first playing his songs. he adds basslines so you may be un suspecting.

what i like about them is most of the gradually build up to decently loud, then they drop. they dont just go from nothing to BOOM

i'd like to know how this kid takes clipping out of a song. most songs are recorded with some distortion in them. and dj's just amplify that by screaming into the mic on their drops.
