replaced 4 6500xxx amps with the new OKUR 7500.1 (2) and let me say wow I set the amps the same as the 6500's. gain set 1/4, set 0 bass boost went on the same volume same freq. first burb and spit out 3 subs after some fine tunning conclusion 1 OKUR 7500.1 is as strong as all 4 6500's, wow I would not have emagined that and I had a far less voltage drop. the protection on the amps were awsome as soon as the subs went it protected it's self removed the bad subs and good to go. pics will be up soon as I can load them up. the car has been through a make over with the help of danny hays we are both extreamly proud and ready for the new sesson hope to see all of you guys soon.

danny use's 3 7500.1 and does what I think 180.1 was the best so far stetsom use's how many amps to do the same db ? I don't know thats why I'm asking please fill me in.

mine are different, but you said around 1600 used right well how about new we are talking sug retail and it could be the same basic board with different components with different tolerances thus output would be different. lets see again so cactus, atomin,AA, and many others that use the same board are really the exact thing out put wise. I'm sure this is a question many here would really like a posative anwser. tsns, cliff, lanzar all use the same basket motor struckture looks the same as do the spiders but the out put are totally differant right when you get to the nity gity they really are differant.

of course there are subtle differences in actual components that are used on board for each said company. i don't know what the dd's went for new, as i said, i don't think they are being produced anymore through dd. and as far as comparing subs to amps...
those subs may use the same baskets, but it is obvious they don't use the same motor. that is more like a comparison that the amps use the same heat-sink. (they don't) but the internals are similar.
and like i said before, zenon is a very high quality board. i know the amp does the power it says, but that msrp price is just crazy.

subtle, are you for real. talk to any amp repair company and they will let you know there are big differances especialy when you use parts that have less than 1% tollerance to say 5% . I sent steve at amp medics a cliff amp for repair and it can not be fixed, why the power supply is not available anywhere only from cliff and they will not sell it but ma is the exact thing right to the untrained eye only.

steve at amp medics has had one of my amps before and said something similar about american bass...i discontinued his services and went with a real trained professional.. and a division of Db-R. which is the #1 repair center in the U.S. when it comes to high quality amps or warranty repairs. do i think it's a bad a@# amp yes, not trying to sway anybody you are the one trying to disprove what I have said and so far you haven't done that great of a job, BTW the pic of that db amp is of the first model it was called PT7.5KH
like I said before as soon as I get the new parts for the subs, I will clamp them and see how much power but you have to remember cleaner power gets louder not just shere power you want to use the os scop on the output as well as the input to get the true cleanest power out put. not just balls to the wall how much power can and amp make will determin weather this amp will help your db score in my project one was louder than (4) 6500's. you can do and decide what ever you want. my knowlage and track record speaks for it's self you can hate me or love me but I allway's make nasty systems do they allway's beat everybody no, but I allways place in the top 3 in the world.99% of the time atleast.

i would love to see stetsom going down to .34 ohms lawl
this is a little choppy as Alan Dante's english isnt that great
"ok i test 2 amplifiers bridge at 0,7ohms i have 9600 w rms at 12.8 volts, the other test we did was 1 amplifier at 0,7ohms i have see 5000 w rms at 11.6 volts.
ok i just need you all to know ,with 0,7 ohms coil rise to 2.1 ohms.
if you bridge 2 amplifiers at 0,7 ohms eat amplifier see 1.4 ohms, the stetsom amplifiers work diferente in bridge ,ok from 2.1 ohms rise eat amplifier work at 4.2 ohms .
i think the best way to run the stetsom amplifiers, is bridge at 0,25 ohms.
at my test from 0,25 ohms rise to 0,9ohms ,and eat amplifier see 1.8 ohms.
with 1 DD battery(12.8) and 1 amplifier we test at 0,7 ohms ,rise to 2.1 ohms we drop the voltage to 11,2 volts and have 5000 w rms."
so bridged 2 stetsom 7kd at .7 ohms (.35 per amp) with impedence rise to 2.1 ohms they produced 9600 watts at 12.8v just thought i'd show you nominal impedences arent everything its all dependent on your impedence rise

CORRECT, also the encloser will affect the impedence. from experiance in order for this to work you have to roll the volume. okur 7500.1 was tested not at (.35 per amp) but at (.35 st*****) big differance.

6500 watts @ 14.4 volts @ 1ohm
17.9 Volts @ .7 st***** = ?
so this is .35 strapped or .7 strapped (.35 per amp)? seems like the story is changing. I know Craig Butler was strapping his 7kd's when he was running Stetsom

i would love to see stetsom going down to .34 ohms lawl
Wattz !!!
well Stetsom will do the job fine at .34ohms nominal impedance !!! if the impedance rise is higher than 1ohm !!! it should be fine as long you have batteries for it !! you know the right electrical system !!!

so maybe you should stick to one story instead of thinking that someone else is being the ignorant one. strap at .35 ohms means .175 per amp..strap at .7 means .35 per amp..just common talk:oh: so :banghead3: on that one

yea it cleared up that you heard of a test done...and you have them strapped at .7 nothing hard...many of zenon's cookie cutter amps can be strapped at .7 ohms with proper electrical its just most people dont have the nerve or the need to
