View Full Version : Upgrade - Forum Closing 4/15 - 4/16

The forum is scheduled to be closed 4/15 - 4/16 and possibly into the weekend due to upgrades and maintenance. If this changes I'll post here. We'll be doing a major forum software version upgrade on the forum which will impact a lot of things on the forum. A lot of testing and tweaking will be involved after the upgrade so please be patient.

Huge thanks to everyone's donations (http://www.floridaspl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3969) last year who made this upgrade possible. We've however not received any donations this year and will have an increase in advertising as a result to sustain our growth. Our donors (http://floridaspl.com/forums/showgroups.php) will see less advertisement of course.

Hope everyone is enjoying this place, it's growing daily!

You know what I hate more then that is the PM system.

1. How much space you have left is at the bottom.
2. When people reply it does not auto quote it so if your like me and get a lot of PM's your like WTF is this person talking about. I gave up and turned my PM's off on ca.. lol

Yes we're upgrading to version 4. Version 4 packs a bunch of benefits, it's going to be around for a while so it's only going to get better. A lot of things have been fixed since it's release and we feel its time to upgrade.

Version 3 isn't supported anymore so we've got to stay current. It's not secure running the old stuff that isn't patched anymore.

That is very true.. I have just used vb 3.x for so long heck i remember 2.x.. LoL It's come a long way for sure.. I just wish they had kept the 3.x line and just patched stuff when needed that would be nice.
