XS Power XP 3000 Batteries

Just ordered 2 of the XS Power XP 3000 batteries, looking for some feedback on these and how are they compared to the XS Power d3100? If there's anyone that is currently using them, what are your opinion about them. Thanks

Better reserve capacity than the D3100s. These are made for the daily driver. If you need instant discharge for burps, then the D series are what you want.

depends on what you are doing ....for music i'd use d3100's but the 3000 is a great battery and will work close to the same
the difference in the AH doesn't make it a better battery
i talked to scottie about these at SBN

Actually they don't have better reserve then the d3100. These are made to supplement the system. The d3100 have slightly higher discharge curreny as well as reserve. From my understanding the xp series has fewer plates per cell along with a couple other weight saving things.
Nate says the XP are not designed to be the main starting battery but to be used by people having large banks of batteries.

Weight saving? Beech weighs 80 lbs where did they save with if it has less reserve and is heavier then the D3100?

XP3000
Weight Lbs. – 73
Weight Kgs. – 33

Length – 13 in
Height – 8.65 in
Width – 6.8 in

MAX Amps – 3000

Specs
D3100
Weight Lbs. – 77.00
Weight Kgs. – 35.00

MAX Amps – 5000

From the looks the D3100 is 4lbs heavier then the XP series.
