Default Audio Technix

I'm buying an audio technix 0 gauge ofc kit.
I'm planning on splitting it into 3 amps 2 1000/1 and 1 either a 350/4 or 450/4.
What's the best way to distribute it?

I agree the easiest way to distribute is to have a second battery in the rear (two+ if you wanted)

Ground the 1/0 wire about 1' or closer to the front battery, and 1' or closer to the rear battery at the other end, Yes fuse BOTH sides.
Theres Power going in either direction.

Then hook up all the amps to the rear battery, Personally if the amps wiring isnt long, IE amp is right next to the battery, I dont bother fusing it.
If the battery is 5'+ away from your amps, You might want to fuse it lol.

Remember, the fuse is not for the AMP, its for the WIRE.

Any wire leaving that battery hot needs a fuse!

For the second battery is it needed to have a battery isolator?

Yes I know, Thats why I said IF the amp is close to the battery, I dont bother fusing it, because the run of wire needed would be minimal, not worth the time and effort.
But if the amp is far away, and would need a 5'+ run of wire to go from the battery to an amp then I would.
Like I said though, its personal preference. For safety's sake fuse damn anything and everything if your worried/paranoid lol.

As for isolators, Dont really see a use for them unless youre going to run your stereo with the car off for long periods of time and drain the rear battery.

Bad advice! Sorry, a burnt down car is way more expensive than cheap fuses!

Equipment vibrates, things shift... you can weld with a car battery! It touches metal & enjoy the fireworks!

You have your preference & that's fine.. I'm not not trying to be a ****.

But please do not recommend it to anyone, that's the same as smoking in a firework factory to me.. matter of time!

I've seen cars catch on fire, seen pics of **** that has happened! Insurance companies probably won't cover it & its atleast a $500 deductable.. do it right & don't have to worry!
