believe it or not my designer got 16 18s in a 1 to 1 ratio bandpass with close to five cubes per driver. you would need to use subs optimized for that type of box though

1:1 ratio isnt that efficient with 5 cubes per sub. I'd think 2:1 at least, maybe more if you want to push for meter numbers. It might tune higher, but it would make better use of the Power available. All that said, it might sound really good overall.

Yea I knew I could fit that but always heard and saw people gain from going to fewer subs and a bigger ratio.

What equipment you going to be running and are you building it or your designer? What bandpass you doing im assuming 4th order, and are you doing 8 on each sidewall, or diamond, or hexagon, or octagon?
