Is the industry still fun?

I would love to get back into installing, and selling. I used to memorize product specifications, count pairs of transistors and look at fuse rating to determine if the amp could put out what specs said. I still have my Klein crimpers, my MIL-SPEC crimpers when I wired fire trucks, my Blue-Point test probe, my Power Probe™, and my Matco strippers. I can read any wiring schematic. I can wire the A/C compressor clutch to come on when you turn the A/C switch on when the constant control relay on a ford fails. I could wire your horn to honk when you press the brake (joke), or I've even thought of wiring the rear seatbelt to a warning light and chime in a vehicle when the car door is opened to remind the forgetful parents to get there baby out of the vehicle so they don't die from heat(my idea, can't afford a patent). It's been 19 years and I still love Car/ATV/Golf cart/bicycle Audio. Ideas are endless. Thanks for your time.

AUDIO4LE$$ Hi my name is Jason and I want to come back to my hobby, my old career, my dream since I picked the the issue of Car Audio & Electronics magazine with the 10 inch subwoofer review/test with the JL Audio 10w1 in the the 90's. After reading that issue I caught the audio bug, and persued a career in Car Audio. In 1996 I was hired by Safari Audio where I worked alongside Parrish Tanner, Shane Cambell, owners Peter McGee, and Eric Canto. They trained me, and thought me everything I know and still know to this day. Being young and my father telling me it was a fad I persued a career at a dealership installing aftermarket accessories. I attended 3 training classes on basic electric, diagnosis, and troubleshooting, and advanced know-how on integrated circuits and how they work. Life was good, but I still missed Audio. In mid 2000's I got ahold of a wholesale book, and started selling products on eBay. Within 3 months I became a powerseller. It was fun, but I still wasn't back in the industry like before. So after a divorce and $5000 worth of tools and box liquidated, I ended up working at a big box retailer. 5 years later a Manager there. This year 2015, I have noticed for some reason an influx of vehicles with more bass like it was back in the day. It sparked my inner ember to want to be back in Oz. It was fun, the people were like family working as a true team, and enjoying what we love. I miss installing, I miss the sound and feel of bass, the smell of warm voice coils (not burnt). Can someone help me get back my career, my hobby, my dream.
