Not sure if the question is still about acrylic/plexi thickness but minimum thickness i would use would be 3/4" on a small or medium window. For a larger area 1" to 1 1/4" thick.

3 cubic ft int volume enclosure with a round 4" port 12" long looks like the best I can come up with using a program. 29" x 18" x 11", with 1" thick baffle and walls. Thats more of a good sounding...
