51 and 31 series? Are you looking to trade for other batts? I have a shuriken 80 with terminal adapters for both top and side posts. Only used one month. Rest at 12.7-8 v.

I'm not sure how the external regulator works. Can you explain, perhaps via pm so we don't clog up your thread. The alternator looks like mine. Does it happen to have a DR44 on the side?

$210 for a JL W7 12"? If its from China, its probably some counterfeit stuff that will fall apart in a week. I wouldnt personally risk my hard earned money on it. Save yourself the time and hassle....
