So buy third party or buy a from a real manufacture.

I don't mind bias, I accept opinions.
What do you think?

I have tried many - one of audison sets were close, then the hertz melle, its been a while but the morel's way back were hard to beat.. i wish the JL C5 sounded better but i was not impressed.

how much do you think a pair of just the K2 woofers are worth? used? my nephew was given a junk corolla for free from his rich friend that got a new Car and didn't know what to do with it, little did he know what he had in it

Analogy for you...
Imagine a Lamborghini engineer building a $20k car with his experience, knowledge & company funding.
Focal makes a $188,000 set of home speakers (Lamborghini)
They also make professional studio speakers, commercial speakers, headphones & car audio. Oh FYI. 95% is 100% made in France, at their factory.
So that $150 pair of speakers are your Lamborghini for less.
Now look at all other companies..... who else does this? Who else even builds their own speakers???
Now subs, you have several great builders, amps you have Zeff, Ott & Lynch from Arc.
But Focal is the king of speakers, hands down.
Replicate a INDY car. Light weight & rigid. Then you need to acoustically dampen it.
Polypropylene is one of the worst by itself.
Paper is better, but heavy if you use it only. That's why they spray glass beads on it for rigidity without weight.
Arc does carbon fiber w/ foam backing.
Blah, blah... watts mean nothing, specs mean nothing... engineering, R&D, & 30yr history in speaker building...
Done w/rant ;). Troll me

I understand.
I can only dream to have Focals lol.
If I had money to blow, sure I'll go for what is financially available for me like the Focal K2 also a Lexus haha.
Maybe one day..
But for now, something under $500 for both front and back stage haha.
