Default Please help me decide which sub to get!

After MUCH research I narrowed my choices to two subs. They are: IDMAX 12 And Alpine Type x.

The selected sub will be run by an Alpine MRP 1000.. Which of the two subs(given the correct enclosure) will have mostly SPL? Thanks in advance!

You have not picked good choices for SPL period. While those subs will work they are hardly to the same quality as some of lines used by the members here, try looking into Sundown, PSI, Obsidian and some of the other brands you see other members here using.

Save your money and by a better built sub.

I was considering the SA12 but im afraid that one day it will blow, i know that they can handle lots of Power but will a SA12 be louder than a Type x?

2 SA 12s, PSI P1 12s, Obsid 12s with 1500solid wattage and a good enclosure = profit. If you do not want to build your own box or can't talk with BHE I am sure they can help you out. And the Type X 12 isn't even in the same category as an SA12, the SA will destroy the Type X in regards to SPL.

You probably want to go to a meet or a show to listen to these subs being offered to you.
