So in a Honda Civic on the Alpine MRP-1000 i should run 1 SA12 and later on upgrade to 2 SA12s and a better amp?

Of course, that's exactly how I started my current build, which is now 2 sa 12s on a sundown saz-1500d.

Yes I know it can. Go talk to rsfaze. He had a civic with 2 sa12 in his trunk.

You won't blow SA12's with 1k. I have 2 on a RFt1500 @ 1 ohm and play them daily.
