The RE MT 12"s aren't selling for enough and probably won't sell for enough due to their cosmetic condition.....

I am thinking of hooking them up to the AB VFL-1000.1 and seeing what they are made of ;)


If and more likely WHEN they blow, I will detach motor and basket. Sand basket down and have it powdercoated, sand blast motor and maybe recoat it? Then sell as a pair of motors....would pull same amount as I am getting offers for now lol

Who thinks the MTs will last on an ab 1000.1 ? After box rise I will probably see 7-8k watts, so like 3.5k-4k each sub?

Rather, how long do you think they'll last?

your box is for 2 12's not 1 so the single sub ideas won't work unless you plug one of the holes which i don't recommend. If i remember correctly on Thors 10's the motor is bigger than the basket which requires a split baffle to mount which you do not have so that leaves the SHD's which i believe might be too deep and the VFL's.

definitely considering the MT recone idea. Thor had a mounting ring around it to allow it to work without a split baffle

Looking at my options currently. Thinking a pair of DC LVL 5 M3 10", or SA Zv4 10"s .... or reconing the RE MT 12"s to take much more Power
