Cool Eight ten's six tweet's

So I finally started my door build.8 mids,6 highs,2 amps,1 eq for now.It will be a slow build, do to waiting on others to do stuff I can't. on with the pic's.

I spent a couple hours cutting rings,wish I had a router.Eff jigsaws.

Started the flush mount.

All flush mount done thank god I think thats the worst part.

Started playing with the arrangement to get ideas.I think the first one is it though.Any ideas or opinions would help here. All I have to play with is the back half and the front lower half.

Her is a couple of the beasts that will make home here. One bandc md26 and one selenium mb3p.their will be a total of 6 mb3p and 2 md26's.

Yes my 2 year old decided to color all over them even the brand new ones.Thank you Lyndsay.

Here is the dusty, all fingerprinted up audiobahn hc2300.That will push the tens.

I blew my rca outs on the cd player so I got this eq because it has high inputs, and is awesome.
Audiocontrol eqx

And the amp for the highs. This amp wil probably get switched to a 450.2 but we will see.
kicker 200.2

And their will be 6 st 350s not shown.

So did a little work today, took out the old panels. Started ripping them apart, yippie. This stuff is really brittle and barely salvageable enough to trace. But with some luck I'll get it.

This is the only piece I will be using from the old panels.I'm going to clean it up.Grind off the prongs on the back, and rivet it to the new wood.

Would have took more pics, but my camera takes muffed up night shots.

I traced the old door panels onto card board. But cardboard makes a terrible line to trace off of.So i'm going to trace direcly onto the new wood.Plus I need to meke them a little shorter. The factory ones hit the bottom, and I want to fix that anyway.

The old panels are all tore up and I have to fix the gaps also.

This is the cut out that I made that I will be throwing away.

The original panels have these crome window moldings. That they stapled to the backside of the panel in between the window.Their like thirty somethin years old so they to are all muffed up.

The one side doesn't even have a side, and the window gets scratched all the time.

I want to keep these to hide the gap,and to help guide the window. They have a crome dress up on top I want also.So I think I have a plan on how to redo them.To start I cut and grinded all the old stuff off.

This shows you the crome.
