I wasnt telling him to do anything, just stating what I do, And even said to fuse anything and everything if he wants to for safteys sake.

I know of the potential risk, and I've also seen a LOT of builds where people have their main Power runs unfused, and Multiple runs of power Wire unfused.
I'm sure you know multitudes more then I do, Im not installing audio in bentlys for a living

Lol, in a competition world its different...to a point.

Every time I see it, I cringe! Question is, why not fuse?

But what does a fuse hurt?

You drop a half volt & you amp puts out 5% less power.. you can't even here the difference..

I'm just anal when it comes to safety & proper guidelines to car audio.. fuses are top of my list, then ban CCA wire & then ban Class D amps ;)

Some hardcore competitors I guess think they'll lose a fraction of a volt lol.

Others who dont fuse their main run? Not sure.

I'd assume fuses would be when you're working on $250k cars, I'd see Timbland Being a little peeved if his car burnt to the ground LOL.

Assumptions on who's car it is...

Either way, a $500 car gets fuses...every time!

I've personally never owned a g/h I think.
