Make sure the fuse holder you are using can handle 500 amps also so it doesnt melt.

NONONONONO. Dangit people. I've posted this same thing multiple times now, does anyone pay attention?? ANL fuses are a slow-blow fuse. They will easily flow up to double their rated current for up to 5 seconds before they blow. Please explain to me what purpose you have to flowing 1000 amps of current though a single Wire in a vehicle, and what wire you're doing that with? Why not just set your Car on fire now, instead of waiting for it to happen later?

How much amperage is really traveling from front to back? Only what the alt is putting out + whatever the amp needs over what the rear batts are feeding it correct? I don't understand the need for multiple runs front to back unless you are running 2 or more alts. Just seems like having a 4 lane highway with only 1 lane of traffic.
I have 220 ah reserve in my back bank with stock 100 amp alt and Everstart MAXX batt under the hood. 1 run of Bullz CCA 1/0 front to back with 150 amp fuse directly after the front batt and 1 directly before the rear bank. 4 runs of the same Bullz CCA 1/0 (2 + and 2-) to dual inputs on a 3K at .66 and I'm not droppin below 13 full tilt. Big 3 in 4 gauge. Rear bank grounded in 2 places.
